Sunplast is a leading plastic manufacturing company in Nigeria with almost 30 years experience in the plastic manufacturing industry. Sun Group entered into the Plastics industry through the acquisition of a plant in Sango Ota, Ogun State in 1991. A second plant was installed and commissioned in 2000 in Lagos. In 2015 both plants were merged under one roof in Ogun State. The plants, which operate under the names Bright Products Limited and Sunplast Industries Limited, are equipped with top-of-the-line injection molding machines from China, India and Taiwan.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Factory Store Supervisor
Location: Ota, Ogun
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily store operations, including receiving, issuing and storage of raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts and finished goods.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely stock updates.
Monitor stock levels, prevent shortages and minimise wastage, damage and discrepancies.
Ensure proper documentation of goods received and issued.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Quality Control and Accounts to ensure smooth factory operations.
Ensure proper storage, labelling, housekeeping and compliance with safety procedures.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.
Supervise storekeepers and ensure adherence to established store procedures.
Requirements
OND, HND or BSc in Accounting, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply, Logistics or a related discipline.
Minimum of 4-6years’ experience in store or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing company.
Experience in a plastic manufacturing factory will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation and warehouse documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
Strong organisational, supervisory and record-keeping skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
