Virgin Forest Energy Limited is seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
Oversee daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
Ensure accurate bookkeeping and proper maintenance of financial records.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
Support internal and external audits.
Monitor expenditure and identify opportunities for cost control.
Provide financial analysis to support management decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
