About the Role

• PESS Group is seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead its advertising sales operations, drive revenue growth, and expand its market presence.
• The ideal candidate will have a proven record of achieving sales targets, building strategic client relationships, managing sales teams, and winning new advertising business, ideally within the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve advertising revenue targets and drive business growth.
• Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships, and expand the company’s advertiser and client base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, advertising and media agencies, corporate clients, dealerships, fleet operators, and other key stakeholders.
• Sell the company’s advertising products and packages, and develop tailored campaign proposals and media pitches for clients.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and advertiser needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation and client engagement to negotiation, closing, campaign handover, and post-campaign relationship management.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, pipeline reports, and performance analyses for management.
• Negotiate advertising contracts, rates, and commercial terms in line with company policies.
• Collaborate with the marketing, creative, operations, and customer service teams to ensure campaigns are delivered well and clients are retained.
• Maintain accurate sales records and an effective client relationship management system.
• Provide regular sales performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, Sales, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in advertising, media, or the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated experience in sales management, business development, and revenue generation.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership, team management, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-value clients and corporate customers.
• A target-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a competitive business environment.

Salary
N600,000 – N700,000 monthly (negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capability)
