Job Title: Senior Software Developer(Java/Node.js)

Location: Nigeria (Hybrid)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead development initiatives, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and software solutions.
  • Lead technical design discussions and recommend appropriate architectures, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Review code written by other developers and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, database integrations, and third-party system integrations.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, code reviews, and agile development ceremonies.
  • Implement automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Ensure applications comply with security, data protection, and software quality standards.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and support their technical development.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.
