Sonologist and Sonographer

Location: Ilesa, Osun State
Salary: ₦110,000 monthly

Requirements

• B.Sc., HND, or OND in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Ultrasonography, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Valid practising licence/registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria, where applicable.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
• Strong technical knowledge of ultrasound techniques and equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage patient workflow efficiently.
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, pelvic, soft tissue and other relevant scans.
• Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning and clear communication during procedures.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Capture high-quality images and provide preliminary findings as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere strictly to infection control, patient safety and confidentiality protocols.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnosis.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and report any technical issues promptly.
