Job Title: Cook / Baker

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Position

  • We are looking for a mid-level experienced Café Cook / Baker to join the team and craft quality pastries, breakfast dishes, wraps, and sandwiches.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of café-style pastries, including croissants, Danish pastries, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and other baked treats.
  • Prepare breakfast and brunch dishes, wraps, sandwiches, and other light meals.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, texture, presentation, and portion sizes.
  • Manage daily pastry production, kitchen preparation, and timely order delivery.
  • Monitor inventory, control ingredient usage, and minimize food waste.
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of practical experience in a café, bakery, patisserie, or restaurant kitchen.
  • Proven experience making croissants and other laminated pastries from scratch, including dough preparation, lamination, proofing, and baking.
  • Strong skills in preparing English breakfast dishes, wraps, and sandwiches.
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality during busy service periods.
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
  • Creativity in pastry development and food presentation.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 monthly.
