Job Title: Baker

Location: Somolu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
Work Schedule: Monday–Saturday
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM daily

About the Role

• We are looking for a skilled and creative Baker/Cake Decorator to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of cakes and pastries while ensuring consistent quality, presentation, taste, and adherence to production standards.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cake production and decoration, particularly with buttercream and fondant, and should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Bake and decorate different flavours and varieties of cakes according to recipes and required specifications.
• Prepare and produce a range of pastries while maintaining consistent quality and taste.
• Execute cake designs based on customer requirements, reference images, or provided specifications.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the baking process.
• Work collaboratively with other bakery team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Support with additional bakery tasks or extended working hours when required.

Requirements

• OND / HND in a relevant field is an added advantage but practical baking experience and demonstrated skill are most important.
• Proven hands-on experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef.
• Good attention to detail and strong sense of presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and meet customer deadlines.
• Good knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Must reside within approximately 30 minutes to the workplace.

Compensation & Benefits

• N100,000 monthly net salary
