We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Baker

Location: Mararaba, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Production/Bakery Operations
Report To: Bakery Manager/Production Manager

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and mix ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
  • Knead, shape, proof, and bake different types of bread.
  • Monitor baking temperatures and timing to ensure consistent quality.
  • Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness within the bakery.
  • Ensure ingredients and baking equipment are properly handled and stored.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Minimise wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of baking equipment and work areas.
  • Perform other baking-related duties as assigned.

Requirement

  • Minimum of SSCE/OND qualification.
  • 2–3 years’ experience as a Bread Baker or in a similar bakery production role. Basic knowledge of fitness industry operations is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of bread-making techniques and baking processes.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, or public holidays when required.
