Job Summary
Our client is seeking a technically proficient and detail-oriented Data Management Support professional to maintain geophysics databases, support geoscientists, manage seismic data archives, and ensure the availability and optimal performance of critical geophysical applications.
Key Responsibilities
Geophysics Data Management:
Maintain accurate, updated, and accessible geophysics databases using proprietary, internally sourced, and external data.
Manage seismic data archives, including indexing, transfer, storage, and monitoring of seismic tapes.
Monitor disk space utilization and prepare forward capacity plans to support ongoing and future projects.
Generate computer-based geophysics documents, charts, plots, listings, and interpretation materials.
Develop and maintain procedures for electronic data exchange with partners and industry stakeholders.
Ensure the functionality and availability of the SISMAGE geophysics software application.
