Field Marketer

Shiny Power Solution (SPS) is a registered Nigerian company based in Ibadan, Oyo State, on the Sango–Eleyele Expressway. We are a solar energy company that designs, supplies and installs solar power systems for homes, businesses, churches and institutions. We also run the SPS Solar Training Academy and provide CCTV and security installation services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Marketer

Location: Sango, Ibadan - Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

What you'll be doing
Most of your week will be spent outside the office, meeting business owners across Ibadan and nearby towns. You will visit shops, supermarkets, hotels, schools, filling stations, churches and offices, explain how solar can cut their energy costs, and identify those ready for a site assessment. You will also:

• Generate and follow up leads until they become site inspections and signed jobs
• Explain our products, pricing and flexible installment plan for business customers clearly and honestly
• Engage new customers, manage a strong sales pipeline, and follow through on leads to drive successful conversions.
• Ability to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through result driven field sales effort.
• Keep a simple daily record of visits, contacts and follow-ups, and report weekly to management
• Work closely with the operations team to make sure every lead is passed on properly.

What we're looking for

• HND or B.Sc in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
• At least 1 year of field sales or marketing experience (fresh graduates with strong drive are welcome to apply)
• Confidence approaching strangers and speaking to business owners
• Fluency in English and Yoruba
• Good knowledge of Ibadan and its business areas
