Employment type: Permanent, with a 6-month probation
Reports to: Operations Manager
Hours: 8am -5pm. Monday to Friday. You may be called on if something urgent
Start Date: November 2026

The role

  • You'll keep the software we use every day working well and safe. When something breaks, you're the first to fix it, or you get the right people on it fast. You'll also help us choose and set up new technology as we grow.

What you'll do

  • Look after our trading and back-office software, and the market screens our traders use.
  • Set up staff accounts and control who can access what, across email and business systems.
  • Fix problems quickly during trading hours. If you can't fix it, escalate fast, and record everything.
  • Keep our website and client portal up to date, online and backed up.
  • Work with our software suppliers: report issues, test their fixes and hold them to agreed timelines.
  • Install updates safely, always with a backup and a way to undo the change.
  • Help us pick and set up new digital tools, and write simple guides on how things work.

What you need

  • At least 3 years in IT or software support, ideally in a bank, stockbroker, fintech or insurance company.
  • Basic SQL, so you can look into a problem in a database.
  • Hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and staff accounts.
  • Experience with a support ticket tool (Jira, Freshdesk or similar) and with Postman for testing system connections.
  • Good security habits: strong passwords, two-step login, regular updates and spotting scam emails.
  • The ability to explain a fix in plain words to a colleague or a client.

It's a bonus if you have:

  • ITIL 4 Foundation
  • Azure or AWS basics
  • Stockbroking back-office software (e.g. InfoWARE, Zanibal)
  • Payments (Paystack, Flutterwave, NIBSS)

In your first year, we'd like to see:

  • Key systems are up at least 99% of the time while the market is open.
  • Urgent issues get a response within 15 minutes, and are fixed or escalated within 30.
  • Staff access is reviewed every quarter, and nobody can reach what they shouldn't.
  • At least 95% of updates are done on schedule, and every issue is logged with its cause.

Why join us now

  • We have big plans. We're investing in people, technology and new products, and we want to become one of Nigeria's leading digital stockbrokers. Join us early and you'll work closely with leadership, your ideas will shape our plans, and you'll help build something you can be proud of.

They see your structured profile as it stands at the moment you apply, plus your CV if you have one attached. That snapshot is frozen - if you edit your profile next week, this application still shows what you sent today. Your salary expectation is never sent unless you choose to include it.
Yes. The match figure is for you, not for them - El-Elyon Alliance & Securities Limited (EASL) does not see it. The apply button works the same regardless of your match percentage.
Because boards rewrite titles when they republish. All copies of this vacancy are the same job at the same employer with the same closing date. We show the employer's own wording and list the rest above so you know you have already seen it.
It appears in your application tracker straight away. Because this application is handled here rather than on an external site, you will see the status change as El-Elyon Alliance & Securities Limited (EASL) moves it - viewed, shortlisted, interviewing or declined. Roles that redirect to an employer's own site cannot be tracked that way, and we say so on those listings.
