About the Role

• We are looking for a commercially driven and motivated Technology Sales Executive to join our team and build a career in the IT and cybersecurity solutions space.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients, understanding their technology needs, and working closely with technical teams to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Previous cybersecurity sales experience is not mandatory. However, candidates should have sales experience, a good understanding of basic IT concepts, strong business development skills, and a genuine interest in learning about cybersecurity and technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities for IT and cybersecurity products and services.
• Research prospective clients, industries, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct cold calling, email outreach, networking, and other prospecting activities to generate qualified leads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Understand clients' business needs, IT environments, and technology requirements.
• Work with technical specialists to identify and position appropriate technology and cybersecurity solutions.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
• Attend client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and business development activities.
• Manage sales opportunities through the pipeline and maintain regular follow-up with prospects.
• Support negotiations and work towards successful deal closure.
• Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and business development targets.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, opportunities, activities, and sales progress.
• Keep up to date with IT, cybersecurity solutions, emerging technologies, industry developments, and security trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of sales or business development experience, preferably within IT, software, networking, telecommunications, cybersecurity, or another technology-related industry.
• Basic understanding of IT concepts and technology solutions.
• Strong interest in technology and cybersecurity, with the willingness to develop technical knowledge.
• Ability to understand technical products and solutions and communicate their value clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good presentation, negotiation, prospecting, and relationship-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads and develop new business opportunities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, target-driven, and commercially aware.
• Comfortable with cold calling, client acquisition, and business development activities.
• Ability to engage confidently with business decision-makers, IT professionals, and other stakeholders.
