Job Position: Procurement Officer

Job Location: BUA Flour and Pasta Mill, 2nd Gate, Tin Can Island, Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, goods, and services at competitive prices while ensuring compliance with company policies and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and quality products.
• Vet suppliers and maintain an updated list of approved vendors.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and monitor deliveries.
• Collaborate with the Store Department to monitor inventory levels and replenishment needs.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports.
• Implement cost-control measures and ensure value for money.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant procurement experience in the manufacturing or FMCG industry.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
• High level of honesty, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Proximity to Apapa/Tin Can Island is a strong advantage.
• Must be willing to work extended hours when required.
