Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance, food safety, and regulatory compliance within a food / FMCG manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality management and food safety systems, including GMP, HACCP, and ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000.
• Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, SON, and other relevant regulatory standards.
• Oversee product testing, laboratory operations, raw material inspections, and finished product quality.
• Lead internal audits, regulatory inspections, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
• Manage and develop the quality team while promoting food safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 8–10 years of Quality Assurance experience in food/FMCG manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Certification in HACCP and ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 (Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor) is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience dealing with NAFDAC, regulatory, and customer audits.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Salary
N500,000 / month.
