Nigerian freelance vs full-time - the honest conversion
A NGN 20,000/hour contract sounds better than a NGN 900k/month salary until you factor unbillable weeks, self-funded HMO, self-funded pension, and higher tax exposure on 1099-style income. Rule of thumb: multiply your contract gross by roughly 0.75 to get the equivalent full-time gross that would net you the same monthly cash.
