actBase Consulting Limited - Our client is a fast-growing and major FMCG (Foods and Beverages) company with plants in Ogun State and Abuja. 

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supply Chain Officer

Location: Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Primary Job Responsibilities 

• Monitor inventory levels of finished goods, raw materials, packaging materials, and other critical supplies to ensure optimum stock availability.
• Identify potential supply constraints, material shortages, production capacity limitations and other risks that may affect product availability and proactively recommend mitigation actions.
• Work closely with Demand Planning to reconcile demand and supply requirements and resolve gaps between forecasted demand and available supply.
• Collaborate with Procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials and other production inputs in line with approved supply plans.
• Monitor production plan adherence and assess the impact of production variances, downtime, capacity constraints and material shortages on supply commitments.
• Coordinate stock replenishment across plants, warehouses, depots or distribution locations based on demand, inventory position, and approved allocation plans.
• Analyse inventory trends and recommend actions to reduce excess, obsolete, slow-moving and ageing inventory while maintaining required service levels.

Major Requirements

• Degree/ HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Admin, Economics or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum of four years’ relevant experience in Procurement, Supply Chain and Contract Management preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Professional Certification in Procurement is an added advantage

Salary
N10,000,000 - N20,000,000 annually.
