Job Title: SAP FICO Super User

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• The SAP FICO Super User will provide functional support for SAP Finance and Controlling processes, serving as the link between Finance, end users, and the IT / SAP support team.
• The role involves troubleshooting system issues, supporting financial closing activities, training users, improving business processes, and ensuring effective use of SAP FICO across the Nigerian operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line SAP FICO support and guidance to end users, resolving or escalating system issues.
• Support Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO) processes.
• Support integration between SAP Production Planning (PP) and FICO, particularly production costs, goods movements, and reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing, financial postings, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Participate in system testing, upgrades, enhancements, and SAP implementation or rollout projects.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to Finance and IT teams.
• Develop user guides and SOPs, and train existing and new SAP users.
• Maintain accurate financial and master data while ensuring compliance with internal controls and Nigerian tax requirements.
• Prepare financial and management reports and support SAP-related business requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field with 5 – 8 years of overall finance or business systems experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience in a live environment.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP AR, AP, GL, AA, and CO modules.
• Practical understanding of SAP PP integration with FICO, particularly production costing and inventory accounting.
• Previous experience as an SAP Super User, Key User, or Power User is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations, including VAT and WHT, and statutory financial reporting requirements.
• ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
• SAP S/4HANA experience is an added advantage.
